Healthcare Revenue Cycle Consultant Analyst / Project Manager - Oakland, CA 94609
The Revenue Cycle Project Director will oversee all work on various Revenue Cycle vendor solution projects. This work may include implementation (not limited to installation or configuration), transformation, optimization, upgrades, and post-live application support.
Key Responsibilities -Depending on the client engagement, the Revenue Cycle Project Director will collaborate with Accenture team, Revenue Cycle Vendor team, and Client to:
• Be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day project work
• Be responsible client executive (C-suite level) and sponsor relationships related to revenue cycle project work
• Be responsible for Accenture-Revenue Cycle vendor relationships related to project work
• Plan Revenue Cycle project work
• Staff Revenue Cycle project work
• Serve as Accenture role model responsible for the development of team members staffed on project
• Oversee and monitor execution of Revenue Cycle project work
• Transition Revenue Cycle project work, as appropriate
Management Responsibilities:
• Staff, manage and maintain a high performing, diverse team
• Create dynamic work environment
• Understand and shape Client business needs into Revenue Cycle vendor solutions
• Collaborate with Accenture, Revenue Cycle Vendor, and Client teams
• Evaluate, document, and provide feedback for Accenture project team members on a formal and ad hoc basis
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 3-5 years of revenue cycle consulting experience in similar consulting firms managing medium to large teams at large, complex provider healthcare clients/environments such as an Integrated Delivery Network, Children's Hospital, Academic Medical Center
• 5 years experience managing complex, multi-team revenue cycle software implementation projects, including Siemens, Epic, GE, McKesson, and/or Allscripts/Eclipsys
• 3-5 years client facing experience at the C-suite level
• 2-5 years experience directing large-scale revenue cycle service delivery teams
• 5-10 years in healthcare IT, at least 6 of those years in a revenue cycle leadership role
Preferred skills
• Implementation and program management experience with ICD-10
• Implementation and program management experience with Epic/Meditech revenue cycle modules
• Experience interacting extensively with senior business and IT executives
• Understanding/knowledge of implementation methodology
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
